Demystifying Horizon Europe
Friday June 19, 2026, 12:00PM
Registration: https://vuw.zoom.us/meeting/register/iyQVYv6pTna15Tvu1PU0AA

A lot of us have heard about Horizon Europe – maybe we have seen the emails from our research office – but what is it? And how do you get involved? This session is hosted by Dr Sarah Bickerton and aims to answers all these questions and more. For this session we will be joined by Associate Professor Andrew Sporle, the National Contact Point (Māori) for Horizon Europe, and Associate Professor Lara Greaves, one of the first New Zealanders to gain this funding. Andrew and Lara will discuss how it all works, how they got involved and what first steps you can take. The aim of the session is to cut through any knowledge barriers and get more politics and social science scholars involved in Horizon Europe proposals.

All are welcome, please send it along to people who might benefit from it. We will record the part that Andrew and I do and send it along to members.
