Following up from the newsletter, I can confirm that the Taiwanese Political Science Association (TPSA) has generously offered to waive the registration fees and provide three nights of accommodation for at least two NZPSA|TKTTOA members who would like to participate in their annual conference from 29-30 November at National Chengchi University in Taipei. The call for papers, which closes on August 3, can be found here. If anyone is interested in taking up this offer, please get in touch with me and I will pass on your details to the organisers. I will also be attending the TPSA conference as I will be in Taipei while on sabbatical at the end of this year, so I hope two or more other members are also able to attend!

Please also note that the submission date (June 1) for our own biennial conference is fast approaching. We want to see as many old and new NZPSA|TKTTOA members there as possible, so please get your abstracts or panel submissions in as soon as you can. Registration rates are going to be kept at as low a level as possible to ensure there are fewer financial hurdles for anyone who wants to participate. This will be announced and opened on the NZPSA website in the near future, so keep an eye out for that.
