Treaty Principles Bill Submissions
There was one more thing I neglected to mention in the previous email: Following the AGM discussion, talks about the Association taking a position on the Treaty Principles Bill has continued. Given the lateness in the year and the relative quiet around the issue at this time, we've decided to hold off on making an NZPSA | TKTTOA statement for now, but strongly encourage all members with expertise and knowledge in this area to make a submission before the opportunity closes on January 7 2025. We will follow developments closely in the new year and if the political moment arises where it would be useful for us to weigh in on the issue, we will consult with the membership on that in as timely a manner as we can.
